• Kellie Pickler recently stopped by Nashville journalist Hazel Smith's kitchen to tape an episode of CMT's Southern Fried Flicks. As she at a plate of vegetarian lasagna, Kellie told Smith that she had written four or five songs for her next album, including one with husband Kyle Jacobs.
• The National Enquirer reports that Carrie Underwood and husband Mike Fisher have discussed adoption as a result of Carrie's involvement with children's charities and visits to orphanages.
